Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Help with DVD VCR Recorder

    I have one at home a Philips model and it is endlessly giving me problems. Now when I insert a blank dvd into it it comes up as no disc. Anyone know how to fix it

    Is the DVD type compatible with the recorder

    DVD-R/DVD+R/DVD-RAM/DVD+-DL not all are compatible with all recorders - check the manual.

    Does it accept any dvd? I had a philips but returned it due to a series of problems with dvd player/recorder element. I would get your error for all discs, blank or otherwise. Looking online I discovered this was quite common in the philips. This was a few years ago so things might have improved since.

    Philips are a joke by and large.It doesn't accept most dics.
