Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Prostitute in Ribery case goes public

Zaharia Dehar, has now gone public with her view of the accusations and possible consequences to be leveled on Franck Ribery and other French footballers. Zaharia is the prostitute that allegedly slept with Ribery, Karim Benzema and Sidney Govou when she was 17 years old. She is now 18 years old and she can’t believe that the footballers may face jail time for their actions.

Dehar says that the players treated her “with utter respect” and deserve to be left alone. Prostitution is legal in France but its practitioners need to be over the age of 18. Miss Dehar was one of 18 girls questioned by officers during a police raid on the Café Zaman, a nightclub on the Champs Elysee, last week. She reportedly informed vice squad officers that she had had sex sessions with the players that cost them £2,000 a night.

The problem for Ribery is that he is a Muslim who converted to marry his French-Algerian wife Wahabia. They have two daughters. Needless to say this is a very sticky situation for him.

The judge in Paris, Monsieur Andre Dando, is yet to decide whether or not to prosecute Ribery, but it apparently remains a strong possibility.

It has been reported that Ribery has admitted having a relationship that lasted several months with the girl, but he denies knowing that she was under-age. I find it very hard to believe that his spent months talking to the girl and being intimate without the mention of her age.

I am shocked that a 27 year old male who earns £120,000 a week playing football would spunk a small proportion of that away on someone who looks like this.
