The more logical explanation is that Bale is misdirecting the public. :pac: The man is insane in terms of his commitment to acting for example; The Machinist. He's obviously aware of the fact that the public are speculating upon what happens. So it would make sense for him to make a statement like that which would set the internet on fire in terms of speculation. This generates hype and many will assume that Batman will be alive by the end of the movie.... Of course, this is only speculation. :pac: I don't think he would reveal actual plot details of the most closely guarded film for years so I wouldn't say the quote proves anything in favour or against the outcome. They merely fuel this discussion....

The website also includes a gallery of some pictures from the movie which you may have seen already. Although the webpage is very slow to view them.

Just click 'Menu' on the top right hand corner and click gallery.

The background could get bigger if you go into full screen. If went bigger for me when fullscreen on chrome.
