Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Usb ports aren't working

    I have a Dell Inspiron 6400 Laptop and I'm running windows xp. For some reason any usb device I plug in isn't being recognised.

    It isn't fully f*cked as any chargeable device I connect still charges. The only problem I'm having is from the laptop. This means no webcam, not being able to transfer music etc. Needless to say it's frustratin >_<

    I've tried uninstalling in device manager but no luck :/

    Can anyone help me?

    Did you uninstall "everything" under "universal Serial Bus controllers" in the device manager ?

    I've done that before to solve these problems.
    If you've any usb devices eg. mouse, it'll disable them, but then you use the keyboard to shutdown/restart the laptop and it'll detect everything again.

    If that fails, then try uninstalling all your USB drivers ( eg. webcam ), then reinstall the device BEFORE plugging the device back in.
