Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

His hand wasn't pulled into his chest and I've seen them given for it.

The ball was going towards goal when it hit his hand.

look at it again, his fist is closed on his pec, if it didn't hit his hand it would of hit his pec.

spec savers would make a fortune with boards adverts

Could have gone either way and I couldn't really complain if it was given. The only thing going for Warnock is he was trying to pull in his arms but the shot was too hard.

Think we got a bit lucky for it not to be given

His right hand was against his chest but his left was out and that's what it hit.

As I said, they get given. In this situation it wasn't.

Defo handball imo, no doubt about it.

City have had the better of this I would say, but Villa have the all important goal. Gona be an interesting second half, as Villa are coming into this a lot more.

Shame. All sides really need Spurs not to win today for this race to stay alive.

Spurs win today and it will be a formality.

    City Peno.

Big Friedal hasn't got a chance......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Warnock, that was a really stupid tackle. Absurd like. There was no reason to slide in like that, none. Foolish.

You do realise we play Spurs and would only be a point behind with a win?

Ffs shocking defending although I think we can score a few Toure is impersonating a defender

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Well played Johnson, really well played. Downing nowhere near him. Look at number Downing after he gets beaten. Just stands on the line doing nothing. If he had tried to get back to the line, he woulda cleared the ball. Shocking defending from him.

This is game is far from over, more goals are coming :)

No I meant we would only be a point behind if we both win today.

Then if we beat Spurs we go ahead.

They still have to play city.

Yeah but I don't think you will win this, I don't think you will beat Spurs and I think Burnely away is far easier than West Ham away.

    ah dammit

    that warnock is well dodgy

What was downing doing for adebayor's goal trying to play everyone on side?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

Unlucky mistake from Warnock if he hadn't slipped he wouldn't have had to dive in then Friedel should have saved a poorly taken peno. Second goal was poor defending but Carew was unlucky hitting the post.

Plenty of more goals in this Fulop looks uneasy and Toure is awful, to think he replaced Dunne is hilarious

It must be frustrating talking to the wall. The complexity of the situation is a little much for some :pac:

We need to get Young into the game more and try and test Fulop as he looks dodgy

Toure is getting turned inside out.

Goals always come down Villa's left.

Downing and Warnock are pussies ans wont get stuck in.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 7,239 ✭✭✭KittyeeTrix

If that wasn't a handball then I must honestly say I'm not sure from now on what is????

ps...Can't stand the ref, always hate to see him ref a City game:(

Great game tho', hope it keeps as lively

Why did Downing stop playing when Johnson turned him inside out for the 2nd goal. He just seemed to stop??
