Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Why did Downing stop playing when Johnson turned him inside out for the 2nd goal. He just seemed to stop??

To take notes on efficient wing play I'd imagine

It wouldn't have even been so bad if he'd stopped on the field of play, he was about 2 yards off the pitch too.

Villa looking very weary and making it pretty easy for City at the moment.

Look like it's down to City v Spurs for fourth :(

Selling a far better player for £6 and then buying Toure for £12m is crazy in anyone's books.

EDIT: How much did Lescott cost?

Most places reported £16m for Touré and £21-22m for Lescott.

Always open to letting another in when you push forward like that, City were the better team overall we looked tired especially the front 2

Fantastic character to come from a goal down to beat a good Villa side.

Sets us up nicely for Wednesday.

    City deserved it.

Johnson is class, cant believe he cost half of what that useless pussy Downing cost.

    Woohoo City:D

Was worried to see SWP on for Johnson but sure, whaddya know???:D

Why were Villa so kanckered? 6 days to recover?

I know it has been a long season but still.

What a signing Johnson has been for you guys.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 8,246 ✭✭✭Esse85

More or less same 11 on the go all season, got to the final of the Carling Cup, semi's of the Fa Cup. MON doesnt rotate or doesnt rest players even when Villa are winning a game comfortably.

Fatigue is bound to be evident.

Pat Dolan slagging off Bellamy's attitude at Liverpool?

Jog on Pat, I would love to have Bellamy back at Liverpool, and his attitude on the pitch was top notch when at Liverpool, and the only blemish on his record while at Liverpool was the alleged golf club incident with Riise.

Cracking player that many teams would love to have.

He certainly didn't think feck all of City!!

Just saw the goals there I'd say Friedal will be very dissapointed with the first two goals but Bellamy's goal was brilliant top class
