Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone have, or know where I could get an umbrella clamp for a monopod?

Not even sure if such a device exists but it would be fierce handy! Basicially just after a bar with a clamp at both ends to attach 1 end to monopod and the other to a brolly.

Asked in a local camera shop but they had no idea of any such equipment so I tried in a music shop to see if there was any suitable cymbal attachment but no joy. They only had 1 fairly large extension arm. Even went into a baby shop to see if there was a similar buggy attachment but they only had canvas parasol types and didnt sell the clamp seperate!

    Anyone have any ideas?

do you need it to have something to also hold a flash or a light source of some sort?

things like this may be useful if you can work out a way to then get it fixed to a tripod screw

Nah, justsomething to clamp on to a monopod with a small arm and another clamp to hold a brolly. Keep me dry when snapping at games

You need a super clamp or two. They sell them in DML. About €26 a pop.

i got something like this which will also hold an external flash if you are doing any strobist stuff - mind you, probably not on a mono pod (the flash that is).
