Eircom account data over http, not https why?

    Hi

    Why is it that when you sign up for a new account or check your download allowance usage that the connection is not encrypted?

    Another thing i noticed is that when you 'log out' of your account if you press the back button on firefox you can still log back in. Only by deleting all cookies and flushing the cache was i able to really log out. This doesent happen when i log out of other sites like amazon or bank of ireland.Why is this?
