Taken from Killcarrick Riding Club's show.
Major thanks for borderfox for the loan of a lens!

Ok here is my honest appraisal.

#1 Fairly flat PP and the horses head is lost in the sky, more definition is needed as well as better PP.

#2 Nice capture and again I'd comment you need to bring out the subject somemore with better PP.

#3 Bit better here, slightly tight crop on the bloke but.

#4 This had a lot of potential, shame you missed out on the Woman's eye.

#5 This is nice, crop to tight to the left though.

#6 The only picture that's different to the others which was a failing IMO but this picture is pretty soft.

    :)

1, 3 and 4 are really nice, bit flat but thats probably the day and having to shoot in jpeg.

    No problems on the loan

Dunno if you did it intentionally to fit th ename of the website i, but they all seem to have a lot of empty space on top of them...?

Personally I quite like them, though I do admit that the fifth photo doesn't agree with me. Don't get me wrong, you can tell by the tone of the collection of photos that they're all fairly pro-horse, but the way the woman has a grasp of the horse in photo 5 just looks a bit vicious to me  I'm sure she's barely even touching him, but it just looks... sore?... To me anyway.

Overall they're quite nice though :)

    KKV, cheers for that.
Her contact there is quite light, if the horse isn't happy, you'll see it with its ears pinned back and trying fight the bit by sticking its head up and mouth open.
He actually looks happy to me!

Well as I say now, you can tell by the photos as a whole that the horses are obviously well looked after :)

It was just something that caught my eye, so I thought I'd point it out. (I don't know anything about horses by the way :o)

I can see your next sets improving each time....you have all the nuts n bolts basically in place, as Keith said "poxy white skies" will be the death of us.
