Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Surprised Chelsea aren't more up for it.

    Atmosphere definately a bit off.

I reckon Chelsea would be happy enough to go at the break on level terms and then really go for it in the second half when Liverpool may well tire!!

It's quite unfathomable how the complete non entity, Lucas, played ahead of Aquilani since he's superior in every single aspect of the game.

Aquilani gives the ball away a lot more than Lucas ever does!! Plus, Lucas is a naturally, attacking midfielder who is playing a defensive role.

Aquiliani is playing that role behind the striker that i think Lucas would be decent at as well. I think calling him a non entity is extremely harsh!!

Because he's trying much more creative balls.

It's harder to give the ball away when your passing the ball to your defence all day

Good enough start by the pool. Movement very good.

    Remember Chelsea Arsenal ?

All Gunners then Chelsea just pounced.

Wouldnt read too much into it.

Liverpool are playing well, let's just hope that their defence can match the good stuff the attack is playing. I'm getting hopeful which is making me very nervous!

Lucas keeps things ticking over. And passing the ball to defense his nonsense. He's a good link up between the back four and the attacking players.!!

Aqua is trying to do more than tick it over, he's actually trying attacking penitrating balls which will naturally mean they won't come off as often as someone "ticking" over with little 2 yrd passes..

    you understand the difference right?

Chelsea making it very difficult for Liverpool to throw this :p

Would imagine there will be some raised voices in the Chelsea dressing room at half-time

The irony of gifting them that. Gerrard needs to stop passing the ball back to his keeper, whenever he does it, he never seems to see the forwards. He did against Arsenal as well
