Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

It's his first one all season long.

    Couldn't have been deliberate

    Gifted goal for Drogba

I'm surprised he had enough time to get the bow of it before he struck it in fairness;)

Gerrard didnt do it on purpose. He did it because he is currently in the worst form of his life.

Gerrard under hit that backpass in my opinion.

Not saying it was deliberate but definitely under hit.

    Kyriagkos what are you doing?

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

    Liverpool are seriously shaken.

Lampard has gotten the ball on the edge of the box twice now in 5 minutes.

..and also in the premierleague against Arsenal, for Henry to score in '06.

Lets face it - Gerrard should NEVER opt for the passback.

Was talking about this last night - on the basis of his form this season there is no way bar his reputation he should be starting for England. It's that and the lack of realistic alternatives that will keep him in the first eleven.

Come on Liverpool, get back in this game. You were doing well up to a point and even Maxi looks interested. Make it 1-1.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 20,617 ✭✭✭✭PHB

Ballack could easily already be off.

Aqua is trying to do more than tick it over, he's actually trying attacking penitrating balls which will naturally mean they won't come off as often as someone "ticking" over with little 2 yrd passes..

    you understand the difference right?

I do understand the difference. Lucas is playing a defensive role who links the play up from defense to the midfield and wide players. Lucas also makes great forward runs and can make defense splitting passes

Aquiliani is an attacking player who obviously is going to be more creative. I realise there's more chance of him giving the ball away when he tries hollywood passes and tries to create things. But i've seen him sloppily give the ball away at times, even when trying a simple pass.

Anyway, i like Aquiliani as a player. I was just responding to the poster calling Lucas a non entity when compared to Aqua!

no freaking kidding, what was the clue that broke the case? The fact it didn't get to the keeper?

Gerrard plays on the left for England right Adam johnson is actually left footed and in some serious form too

probably not but his mate john terry would be pushing for it and now with the liverpool chairman being a "chelsea fan", i wouldn't be surprised to see the switch

If a Pool player scores, I'll feel their groin all night long.

He's not that realistic in terms of displacing him because of Johnson's reputation versus Gerrard's If the team were to be picked on form then Johnson would be ahead of Gerrard on the left.
