Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I have a problem with a Win98 machine, it has got corrupted, and will not start. I have removed the HDD, plugged it into an XP machine and repaired the disk errors.
Now i need to edit the registry on this disk to reset some defaults. XP regedit wont load the win98 file.
So does anybody know a way around this...?
It runs an old application, Win98 ONLY, please dont suggest replacing it.
I dont have another Win98 machine either. :(

you could try installing a virtual windows 98 machine on your xp computer. this would give you access to the necessary regedit files.

Will the Win 98 regedit not run if you execute that instead of the xp regedit?

Just boot the win 98 machine in safe mode.

    Then run regedit.
