Hoping to head up on saturday night for something to eat and a few drinks and some dancing hopefully. Would love some recommondations on where to go. Usually eat and drink in temple bar but would to try somewhere different for a change. Not to young of a crowd if that is possible?

Few drinks and something to eat in Swords then off to the Wright Venue?

Eat and drink in the Anglers Rest in the Strawberry Beds and then free shuttle to the Wright Venue (you'd need to check with them do they still do this)

Or if you specifically want to go to town:

    Drinks in the stags head
    Dinner in Odessa
Karaoke in the Japanese near Odessa
    Drinks on George St
Late drinks (kind of dancing) the Capitol

+1 for capitol bar. only problem sometimes it is to full can take forfever to get a drink.

If so there plenty of places up around camden street or harcourt street with a bit of an older crowd.
