Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I get the whole not making money from shirt sponsorship thing, but i still think the rights situation is very unfair. How can uefa standby this, the biggest clubs getting by far the most rights money, the EPL system on rights is much better, then it makes it appear a level playing field at least..

Don't think you understand my point. Companies like AIG/ Samsung/ BWIN pay clubs millions and millions every year so that their logo is put on the shirt. Barcelona don't have that revenue stream, so that easily evens up the playing field financially. Also, isn't winning the EPL worth something like 40 million? The winner of La Liga gets far far farrrrr less than that.

How many clubs do you think would forgo shirt sponsorship to get the same television rights money as Barca? Quite a lot i'd imagine.

Just because Barca do less well in this regard than Real doesn't mean they are hard done by.

I agree with this point, but look at who sponsors other La Liga clubs - 12bet, previously 888.com. Herbalife sponsor Valencia. Hardly heavy hitters in the shirt sponsoring world I would assume and hardly a decent alternative to getting the scraps of the TV money.
