Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Line up's from BBC:

    Blackburn

    * 01 Robinson
    * 04 Samba
    * 05 Givet
    * 06 Nelsen
    * 21 Olsson
    * 27 Salgado
    * 08 Dunn
    * 11 Grella
    * 12 Pedersen
    * 17 Andrews
    * 09 Roberts

    Substitutes

    * 32 Brown,
    * 02 Jacobsen,
    * 28 Jones,
    * 07 Emerton,
    * 20 Basturk,
    * 23 Hoilett,
    * 26 Di Santo

    Arsenal

    * 21 Fabianski
    * 03 Sagna
    * 18 Silvestre
    * 27 Eboue
    * 30 Traore
    * 31 Campbell
    * 02 Diaby
    * 08 Nasri
    * 14 Walcott
    * 11 Van Persie
    * 12 Vela

    Substitutes

    * 24 Mannone,
    * 20 Djourou,
    * 28 Gibbs,
    * 37 Eastmond,
    * 23 Arshavin,
    * 43 Henderson,
    * 09 Eduardo

    From an Arsenal POV it's a fairly interesting choice as I can't work out what formation we're playing:

    Fabianski

    Sagna
    Silvestre----Campbell
    Traore

    Eboue
    Diaby
    Nasri

    Walcott
    RVP
    Vela

    OR

    Fabianski

    Sagna
    Silvestre----Campbell
    Traore

    Walcott
    Diaby
    Nasri
    Eboue

    RVP
    Vela

    It's good to see Djourou and Gibbs back on the bench anyway and Henderson on the bench again.

    Carlos Vela... there is a very welcome suprise. Very underused this season, I hope he has a good pre season, and stops going to mexico for stupid internationals

    More likely Mr. Wenger is putting him the shop window. A few games now, a few decent appearances at the world cup, could make a happy packet off him.

    This is the more likely outcome imo.

    Ah Carlos, I had such high hopes for you....

    I thought Vela was tipped to be one of the best in the world at one stage was he not?

    Could just be because of his legendaryess on FM, though.:P

    He seemed to be progressing nicely up until this year and then there was several injuries, missing games through traveling for Mexico WCQ's, playing for Mexico injured, the passport debacle and also our 4-3-3 system just doesn't suit him, he's tailor made for a 4-4-2.

    Ah, welcome back Johan & Kieran!

    That line-up has a real end-of-season look to it.

    Ha, that barnstorming surge from defence by Sol there a few minutes ago certainly rolled back the years.

    Over protection of Keepers highlighted again from the refs.

    I'm switching off anyways, Van Persie has already scored against us again, and i'm not really in the mood of watching Robinson boot the ball up as far as he can repeatedly.

    Some great fluid attacking football on display from Blackburn here.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

    Poor punch from fabianski he's definetly being targeted anyway

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 9,153 ✭✭✭everdead.ie

    Campbell injures him

    van Persie.

    Sagna flicked on a corner at the front post and RVP nodded it in at the back.

    Van persie header was alright

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 7,818 ✭✭✭Minstrel27

    van Persie and it was the best goal I have ever seen. :)

    Cheers. B'burn seem to be getting a bit annoyed with Eboué's running, in the few minutes I've seen they've fouled him twice.

    He's playing CM and actually doing alright.

    Andrews... Jesus, he's such a negative midfielder, that was a fantastic opportunity he literally stepped over.

    Understandable.

    Watching Robinson kick the ball at Fabianski isn't the most interesting thing in the world...

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 8,983 ✭✭✭leninbenjamin

    Haha, what a crap goal to concede.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

    How Arsenal of us

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    Fabianski should kick the Blackburn players away who block him imo :mad:

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 2,836 ✭✭✭TanG411

    Van Persie better get up!

    Edit: All is good now. :D

    Technically it's a foul, Roberts clearly impeded him with the arm across the throat... ah well, he's English so it's legal.

  • Banned (with Prison Access) Posts: 9,425 ✭✭✭FearDark

    Flapianski!

    I want to blame him anyway!

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 2,660 ✭✭✭SDTimeout

    Totally intentional elbow too on RVP.

    Nice to see us getting them back too..

  • Registered Users Posts: 11,692 ✭✭✭✭OPENROAD

    Whats with the two Blackburn sopprters ? :D out on the beers last night? :p

    Roberts isn't English, i gave up on the match early on, as i'd probabaly have joined the 2 lads sleeping!

    Van Persie has scored more of his goals against Blackburn than any other club, and Dunn has scored more of his goals against Arsenal than any other club!
