'Light' Leather Jacket?

I'm looking for a leather jacket at the moment, one that would be light. I have a few leather jackets, but all are heavy jackets. They are excellent to wear, but can get very warm. I was looking for a more light-weight leather jacket. I'm hopeless at knowing where to go to find clothes like this. Would anyone have any idea where to find such a jacket?

I'd be looking for a zipped jacket (but would also take a buttoned jacket if no zipped was available), in dark brown or black, and again, a fairly light weight.

Leather is always going to be fairly heavy, just by the nature of it, I would have thought... after all, you are essentially wearing a whole other skin! I know it's not quite the same but some of the jackets you can get in fake leather are a lot lighter and don't look all that different- maybe that's a route to go down?

Yeah, but the jackets I have a really quite heavy/winter jackets, and as much as I love them, if the temperature rises much above 10 degrees, forget about it.

I've seen much 'thinner' jackets in films and stuff, so this was the avenue I was hoping to go, and I was also hoping to avoid fake leather, as I don't like it at all.
