    Why not deal with beggars yourself instead of imposing potentially unreasonable costs on people who don't have any issues with them?

    city centre location? what about new passengers who's journeys will be entirely in one of the two "counties" of the southside? why should they go to the city?

    Here's a thought. maybe if the rpa had got the finger out and not wasted millions of our money in not implementing the integrated ticketing scheme so you could pay by smartcard and actually save money and top up online or at an atm there'd be less coinage and less beggars.

    I don't have a problem with them, but many would. Particularly women. The system of returning cash 'on the ticket' is one that has been used by CIE for many years.

    I agree about the lack of action over a unified ticketing system.

    The current issue surrounding the machines being encroached on by panhandlers needs a solution that allows travellers to use the LUAS safely and with peace of mind, at all points of the journey.
