Does anyone know any good walked up shoots in Northern Ireland or Wales. Group of us have been going to Scotland for the past 6 years but its too far for us to drive and we're sick of airlines and hiring guns. Looked up a few from ads in the magazines but hard to know whether they're any good or not. Some of the prices they're asking are way out too. Not too concerned about big bags, 5 of us usually share about 100 birds over 2 or 3 days. Any advice appreciated.

Thanks Mallards, I'll talk to them and see what they can offer. Was onto a lad in Wales who seems to be sound also. Charges £1000 per day for 40 bird pheasant/partridge days with woodcock and snipe free (musn't come across many) Not too bad I suppose when split 5 ways but still pricey enough particularly with my trigger happy crew!!! 40 could become 80 birds fairly quickly if we were meetin a lot.
