Vandalism is friendly banter? No, it's just childish morons with nothing better to do

I dont think painting one's county colours is vandalism, it shows character and pride of being where there from and to say they have nothing better to do than put in a few hours of hard graft is just insulting.

A rock, fair enough. Doubt many people are bothered.

A hotel, of any description, isn't fair enough.

    On property that isn't yours?
Yes thats vandalism, by your very logic its ok for me to paint anything one's county's colours as it shows pride...regardless of which county does it.

Stick to decorating stuff that you actually own like your house or car,

In fairness they could paint the whole bloody building black and amber and it'd still look better than it does now.

Who auctually owns the rock, by your logic the owners of that property are the only ones who are able to define whether the rock has been vandalised or not. I havent read any mention of vandalisism in any of the newspaper reports so far about the rock. Surely the owners of the rock would have reported vandalism to the gardai like the vandalism on the ard ri was reported.

on a side note (or possibly adding fuel to the fire :D:p):

The Rock is back in the right colours. The blue and White.

Although maybe i should join in and paint it purple and gold . . . . . :pac::p

No it's technically just within the waterford boundary.

and anyway it overlooks waterford city.

the county boundary goes along just past the top of the cliff.

    that technical.

It's either in Waterford or it's not.

And in this case the cliff face, the top of the cliff and even some of the southern parts of the golf club are in Waterford City.

Further clarification can be sought here if needed.

Well google maps puts Waterford City in County Kilkenny, so I think its better to leave it to Ordnance Survey.

Type Waterford into google maps and you'll see what I mean. Dublin city centre also comes up as being in Co Fingal.

There is already a thread about it.
