This is the most appropriate song I can find for how my day was.

I got accepted onto a PGCE (aka primary teaching postgrad) course in Bangor. I've been working towards this since June, so it's great to get the monkey off my back.

So from next year I'll be broadcasting live from North Wales.

Don't worry though, I won't be inflicting Goldie Lookin' Chain on ye. Hip hop and Wales don't really mix.

I met up with some friends in Aberswyth (sp) a few years ago and there were a few lads from Bangor there. They couldnt speak more highly about the place.

I've seen videos of the skating while the car is moving.. But surely some parts are CGI?

The video is savage. There is a culture of drag racing Saudi Arabia apparently, according to my aunt who lived there for a while. MIA looks great in the video too.

Cheers. Yea I was over there with a friend last week and it seemed a great place. Classic student town/city. Psyched for it now.

I was at the worst house party of all time last night and I got talking to a pleb of a chap. Anyway turned out he was maaaaaaaad into his electronica and all that. I asked him what he thought of DJ Shadow, "I've never heard of him". I spent the next 5/10 minutes endtroducing him to Shadow (pun very much intended) and especially to this track. One of the best in any genre.

Shadow is Beast.

These two are on my programming/study playlist because they are so chill and excellent and I know them like the back of my hand. But if I need to space out for a few minutes I can and then come back and get stuff done.
