Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

id echo rebels post there. delighted for crouch and for spurs. after years of hard work and building up a team they have finally broken into the top 4. yeah its at the expense of liverpool :( but results talk and as long as the score stays like this there isnt a more deserving team in the league. i still remember the jokes last season when they were a novelty act under juande ramos. what a difference a season makes :(:)

ESPN just put up a fairly dodgy "as it stands" table, with city 2 points above Spurs:D

This could of been 3 or 4 had city been made play with the correct keeper . . Fulop has played well . .

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

Fulop has played a blinder tonight. Very unfortunate with the goal but hey that's football.

Well he failed to bring in CL football and that was the target for the owners this season. I hope he stays but he won't.

    Its over. Well done Spurs.

    well done spurs

    absolutely delighted for ye

ye build up a great young team there under a manager who I think is superb, i know alot of posters dont particularly like him(not including me) but they cant deny what harry has done for spurs

    what an accomplishment

a few contenders for the MOTM for me
King, Crouch, Gomes, Assou-Ekotto and Modric
but I would have to give it to crouch, thought he was superb tonight, held up the ball and with some silky skills

    get in there spurs

    Glad Spurs got it

    Wel done Spurs

Now here's hoping they get an alright draw for the preliminary round so they'll actually make the group stage, unlike Everton when they got 4th a few years ago..

    Agreed . . His dismissal was shocking . .

City are a heartless team that were very poor tonite . . They will need a Jose to make their mercenaries play like they care for the club (not just care to prove their previous clubs wrong for selling them) . .

From a Villa POV I don't why you would cheer Spurs winning.

Did you think Villa were gonna sneak in there or something??

I do feel bad for Shay I must say. I feel he deserves Champions League football. Am I right in thinking he had a chance to go to Spurs at one point?

Bust their ásses for the whole season to qualify and then get knocked out in the preliminary round !

Right team won in the end, I still can't believe we've qualified (probably won't believe it until we kick off the qualifying game in case somebody has fúcked up and counted out points wrong :o)

Hard luck City, I genuinely mean that.

And its even more difficult now than in Evertons time too, theres a real chance spurs(Or Arsenal if things go hideously wrong at the weekend) could have to face someone like Valencia or AC Milan

Well that, and the fact now Europe wont see what a great 'keeper he is, i assume he's still pretty much unknown to the Europeans..

You never know, depending on Sunday it might be Arsenal that are the ones hoping for a good draw

Spurs pipping Arsenal for 3rd would give me some titter in fairness.

Eh how? It's a game; why should i support Spurs? I am a United fan but i still watch other teams play and have my opinion!

And yes; we should have kept Tevez!

They are 10 goals behind Arsenal though, and I'm sure Fulham will have bigger things on their mind.

I always wished he had joined Arsenal (not sure why that never happened) . .

I was only kidding , he is the one City player I truly admire and would actually care to see play in the biggest games in footie .
