Is Meteor Webtext Broken?

    Has anyone noticed that Meteor webtext has been broken for past week!

    I rang Meteor this morning again to complain again only to be told that
    a mast was down and that its alright now! Which it isnt!

    Problem is

    I can only send webtexts to non 085 numbers on other networks.

    1 I cannot send webtexts to Meteor numbers
    2 I cannot send webtexts to 085 numbers (People who have gone from Meteor)
    3 Other have reported this too! see:

    Works fine for me too


    Sometimes when i log into the site it comes up re-enter password and a code to enter but if i jsut click the meteor logo it logs onto the main account homepage... not sure why it happens, but everything works fine

    If you log out when you're finished that shouldn't happen

    Meteor webtext finally working for me after a week down. Must have been some problem!

    Just noticed the webtexts can be sent more than 144 characters or whatever the amount was for sending just one text

    kinda glad they done that, nice upgrade... 480 is the max characters per text

    This the message I have been getting when I try to logon to Meteor
    I usually add the exception.
    This Connection is Untrusted

    You have asked Firefox to connect
    securely to www.mymeteor.ie, but we can't confirm that your connection is secure.

    Normally, when you try to connect securely,
    sites will present trusted identification to prove that you are
    going to the right place. However, this site's identity can't be verified.

    What Should I Do?

    If you usually connect to
    this site without problems, this error could mean that someone is
    trying to impersonate the site, and you shouldn't continue.

    Technical Details

    www.mymeteor.ie uses an invalid security certificate.

    The certificate is not trusted because the issuer certificate is unknown.

    (Error code: sec_error_unknown_issuer)

    I Understand the Risks

    If you understand what's going on, you
    can tell Firefox to start trusting this site's identification.
    Even if you trust the site, this error could mean that someone is
    tampering with your connection.

    Don't add an exception unless
    you know there's a good reason why this site doesn't use trusted identification.
