I will be going out on-site doing some testing and will need 220V for my equipment and laptop. I am planning to use a generator for this.

What type of one should I be looking at?

    1 Laptop
    3 Amplifiers
    1 Data Recorder
And 7 accelerometers which would powered from the amplifiers.

Do I need a generator with AVR to protect the laptop? And is there any other issues I should check out?

    CHeers
