Don't suppose anyone here was at that Home Star Runner gig that all this fuss is about? Wouldn't mind knowing more, because all I can see is a load of slanderous allegations without proof, which is pissing me off, because I do a good bit for Crawdaddy.

There's an article on Goldenplec giving out about the bouncers and Crawdaddy, but then they give a statement from Pod which says none of the allegations were true after reviewing the CCTV, and the video shows people throwing bottles and ashtrays. Seems like bollox to me.

Was over on after hours just browsing for anything absurd & i came across the 'List of legendary boards threads. ' , One of them on it is entitled,

Face Kicker Not a thread but a person. He had a short life on boards but he gave us all the kick in the face we needed.

He made four posts in one day over 7 minutes but the first one he made which is last on the list is hilarious once you read the original post he is replying to......check it out, i have to say i laughed at his post even more once i read the original post.

Nothings sampled, it's just seriously ripped off. I think there's a law about how different something has to be so you can get away with it as an original track, and that track must be just on the line...

I very much doubt it. Remember years back (or maybe you don't, I'm showing my age here) Huey Lewis took a court case against Ray Parker Jr. for ripping off "I want a new drug" for the Ghostbusters theme? When you heard the two songs you thought "yeah ok, I can hear a similarity". That Basement Jaxx tune is pretty much the exact same song though.
