I have left eircom as I was 1 week late with paying my bill as I was stuck in germany (no flights) and am now stuck without a phone connection so I will not go back with them as its pretty stupid we have a connection with them over 10years and this is the first late payment and this happens.

Doesn't exist. Minimum contract of 6 or 12 months will always apply.
