Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Heard him on the radio paying tribute to Gerry Ryan, at the end he said something like'' Bye Gerry, we will miss you pal, we have faith so we know we will see you again one day'' he then went on to quote some stuff from the Quran (or however you spell it) and said that the quote summed up exactly how he felt...

    Does he have to be a muslim to quote from the Koran? I'm pretty sure there are plenty of quotable passages in it, just as there are in the Bible or the Beano. For the record, Bono AFAIK, is C of I.

    It would be the question I asked, yes you answered it after I posted it.. My point is the fact he quoted the Koran does raise the question, but that's all it was, I never suggested that this meant he was definitely was a Muslim as your reply inferred..

    No, I don't believe that Bono is, in fact, Muslim. I have to concur, though... apart from the fact that Bono was talking about Gerry Ryan at the time, what the heck does this have to do with radio?
