It's understood a suspect package was discovered at the Millstreet building around 9am.
    Hopefully just left luggage :)

or was it all hype? Again.

THe last time, it was a 9" pipe bomb down a guy's jocks! How is that hype?!

Bomb squad got a slow escort with sirens out of town around lunchtime today anyway.

Happened to be there myself plenty of guards there, as well as patrol cars , also as i watched the army bomb squad arrived . I watch as 2 members suited up and began to investigate the suspect package. After a long time, they took it away, a on-looker told me he had been it was a potential pipe bomb.

Saw Joe Shaughnessy so you can expect to see photos some time soon.;)

God, that's a bit mad. "Bomb" and "Galway" are definitely two words you don't hear in the same sentence that often.

It wasnt a bomb scare this time. The package contained a substance which the guards had genuine suspicions was anthrax/something similar.

Surely they have CCTV cameras in front of the building.
