PC - It's not my job to make you happy - It's my job to make you poor ;)

Hows the rest of the kit going??

    Anyway onto the hi-fi pushing!

    Philips 37PFL5405h / Onkyo TXSR608 / Monitor Audio Bronze Reference 5

That would be a nice system indeed...

Retail should be around £1450 at our normal discounted prices - I can do you a Boardie special at £1269 or if I was feeling like being really nice to you I would do it on a Euro for Pound deal at €1449 Euro..........

Would that make you a happy bunny?

    Keep me posted,

Great price John and i'd be hopping mad not to take it but before i tap the bank manager for my last hifi spend for a few years i was wondering do you stock mission speakers? Was looking at the M35i's and they seem to be a lot of speaker for the money. How would these compare with the br5's, especially the low/bass end?

    PC,

apologies for the delay getting back to you - unfortunately we don't stock Mission at the moment ( thinks - I must give the guys at Mission a call after all those years..) so I honestly cannot say how they compare with the BR5's - However I don't think you will find too many/any unhappy BR5 owners out there!

Sorry not getting back to you on this, had a bit of a set back with funds. Bought a new secondhand car and it broke the next day so many many euros later its back on the road but will still need more work.
So have to revise my expectations regards the av gear.
I still hope to get the tv, if it gets to the PS store before the world cup.
Will have to hold off on the speakers and the onkyo 608 (unless you can take a mint boxed 607 as trade in..;))

Moral of the story is there is no such thing as a cheap bmw...

Regarding the TV John has managed to secure a few 37PFL5405H and I'd expect to see them Thursday or Friday this week.

I have you on my system as a customer order for the Tv so will buzz you once it arrive through my doors.

So expect a phone call by Friday!

    Cheers
    Ash
