Genetic Markers identify Neanderthal ancestry in Europeans

this is very interesting, more than saying there's a genetic difference between africans and non-africans it says more about the blurry line between species as evolution seperates them very slowly, and the deeper questions it raises about what and when are modern humans?

It also reminds us that evolution is ongoing.
After the first neandertals moved into Europe they must have undergone some changes and adaptations over time that gave them advantages over the parent poulation.
However what we tend to forget is that back in Africa the parent poulation were also evolving. So when they next met it turned out, oddly enough, that the African Homo Sapiens was even better equipped, on the whole, for living in Europe, than the Neandertals who had been there for so long.
