He'll have to retire from management in about 4 years if he keeps up this intensity really. The fact that he has 96 points and still hasn't the title wrapped up is an absolute credit to Real and all they've been able to accomplish with infinite money and a few months in the summer.

The top two are tight, but My God - the relegation battle is tighter than the proverbial crab's ass at 40 fathoms. It may even be mathematically possible that Jerez stay up (depending on head-to-head results) - especially as Barca host Real Valladolid and Madrid play away at Malaga.

Some of us remember the dying years of the Gaspart regime...they were not glory days. Some are around more than the last 14 months where they've been in focus in Europe/England/Ireland.

Barcelona were more like an amalgamation of Tottingham and Liverpool now really back at the turn of the millennium. Yes, that bad - which makes these years the sweeter.

Only watched last night in the pub, but what was Bojan booked for? And how in hell was it a red card for Atleti?

Great performance for the most part last night from Barca. Annoyed Valladolid did not get relegated last night, but at the same time, now that they probably need to win to assure their survival, they might leave themselves very open at the back.

I will be delighted to see CR9s puss if Real fail to win the league next week.
