Emergency services in the city today????

    Anybody have a clue what was going on around the city today? There seemed to be Gardaí(including the eru's), fire brigade and ambulances all over the shop. Im assuming it was just some large scale training but they would seem to be going out in small batches with escorts from gardaí and would say get to the middle of the western road,turn off the sirens and circle back?

    there was a big training event in the harbour, simulating a collision between two ships (merchant and passenger I think), maybe it was related to that?

    Ah right. Damn wish i had stayed around to see more of it :o I turn into a little kid again when i see the fire brigade rushing past with the sirens on!
