Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

...Ok, so I'm relatively new to XBox360, got my first console over Christmas. And loving it of course. But I'm wondering, what is the deal with the "G" points.

I've an Arcade console so currently I haven't installed the hard drive and as such have no online access, therefore, I'm wondering if those points actually translate to Microsoft allowing you to purchase rewards for playing their games at a later date (maybe 600G equals a map or something for Arkham Asylum)...or do they have a significant meaning at all?

    They have no real value.

The only purpose they serve is to measure your 'e-penis'.

It's like getting a high score on an arcade game. Online, nobody cares if you have a low one, it's just a bit of fun.

well aside from all the funny answers above, The G is basically you're gamerscore.

essentially the more games you play, the more gamerscore you will have. You get gamerscore by unlocking achievements.

It's just a guide for other players as to how many games you've played
