New family of swans on the Canal

    Thought some of you might enjoy these. New family of swans on the canal beside the Cathedral, only left the nest yesterday I think... :)

    Beautiful photos you've got there!! Well done. I can't believe it's a year since the last batch were there! The cygnets are adorable (almost said edible..eek!)

    +1 fotos but be very careful around the parents. Swans are utterly savage when they spot a threat to their offspring.

    Yeah I know, they were wary of me when I went near them first so I backed off... seemed to calm down a lot when I sat down at their level too. After about 20mins there they were perfectly relaxed.

    Yea I did, swan photos don't get a whole lot of respect over there though! The forum can get a lot of them at times! :p Got a few nice comments though!
