[serious for a minute] There was some kind of light in the sky. Probably satellite/space station. The rest is BS. [/serious for a minute]

ok this being AH there has been a lot of messing, but at least 5 people here have seen fireballs, there's been some strange activity involving birds (I have a dead burned crow in my sitting room) and a few of us have felt the earth tremor in the last few days.
Plus my dog is still barking, which he never does...
Is anyone else getting bouts of static on their tv?

Somehow I don't believe a crow managed to die directly above your house, fall down through your chimney, into your fire, and out onto the floor!

I actually did see this, around 10 or so. Me and my friend were walking around Marley Park and saw a large orange glow, thought it was a plane or something but it wasn't moving... bizarre really.

Well when you're living in a 200 year old house with large chimneys it does happen, i've seen it happen a few times, bats too, just found it strange that it happened at night coupled with the fact that two sparrows hit my window. At night...

Then how come you're link to boards was a downloadable link. If it was uploaded through flickr it would've been available to view through the site! ;)

NICE, would have loven to see that. a couple of years ago at 2am in the morning i seen something simular a huge orange ball of light which lasted only 4 seconds but it was deadly. we need more people with good video camera's to get this nice stuff uploaded, and excuse my language but f*ck those mobile phone ones they couldn't take a good picture if it's life was dependant on it.

    The similarities are uncanny.

"And Jesus did tell the unbelievers, "when hell unleashes it's fury, the simiarities between the recently departed flying beasts will be great" and the unbelievers did retreat"

Pfft, it was a tremor and meteor combined. Animals go nuts before tremors. Superstition and drunkeness win again.

Did you use Photoshop or GIMP?
    I don't know what a photoshop or a gimp is :o I just used a normal camera.

MS Paint by the looks of it.

Odd that your camera saves to bitmap (the default file type in Paint) and has a huge white border around it (the same size the the default in Paint) making it look like you copy pasted into Paint.

Kids today and their crappy shopping skills.

the picture has a bit of motion blur - i couldn't find anywhere good to rest it, so on full zoom there'll be a bit of motion... I'd say it could be a chinese lantern like people are describing it as

Ah this is the funniest thread i've read in ages. :D
The lights in the house were flickering to fcuk last night now that i think about it..

Think i'll go and watch Independence Day again, get some tips :p

bout 14 yrs ago myself and a mate were taking a short cut home through a local forest from a club we'd been to. We were drunk, but not pissed..

we stumbled out into a clearing and then both of us saw a huge a GREEN fireball rapidly traveling across the sky from east to west. The thing was really moving and covered as much of the sky we could see in about 10 seconds, before disappearing over the horizon.

We genuinely watched it streak across the sky, thinking it was a comet that was gonna crash into the Atlantic - but never heard anything about it again after seeing it disappear over the horizon. Could a comet/ asteroid appear as a green fireball (a feckin huge one at that)???

of course nobody believed the story cos we were on the sauce, but BOTH of us saw it, and both still remember it to this day.

Can anyone explain what this might of been ??? what could cause a huge green fireball??? Can two people have the same hallucination simultaneously???
