So I thought I'd try revive the idea with a fresh new list as some people may have moved around since.

The idea is to pop a disposable camera in a padded envelope and send it to someone in another county. Then they in turn, take a photo of something / someone /someplace that represents their County or at least of importance to them and pass it on again.

At the end, we get the photos developed (and put on CD), posted and possibly displayed somewhere. I'll also put together an interactive map of Ireland linked to the photos.


Let me know what you think and also your ideas. I'll get it rolling later this week, the list can develop as the camera is moving around the country.

Hey. Apologies for the delay on this. I ended up moving house and starting a new college course when this got sent (to my home address in Donegal). Only just getting back up home this weekend and have the camera now. I'll take the Galway photo during the week and get it moving again. Who wants it Next?

Hey Joe just a suggestion here, but if you havn't made it up to get the camera i would gladly go an collect the camera either meet up with one of your family somewhere, or i could go to your house and collect it?

Just a suggestion i'd rather see this kept going while people are still half interested.......

OK this is all very embarrising. I was frustrated that the last thread ground to a stop so I began this one. Now I've slowed this one up myself!

I've only made it home once since the camera got sent to me, and I fotgot to pack it when leaving. A few family members are coming down to Galway this Thursday for my graduation so I'm making sure they take the camera with them.

Serious apologies, I'll get this moving again soon!

I've just got work overseas and have to move over there pretty soon for the foreseeable future.
If its a problem then someone else can take Kilkenny, I see that you are down as backup for Kilkenny anyway.

I would suggest passing it on to someone else first, then only when all options are exhausted should we think about doubling up.

When Morrisseeee pm'd me I thought perhaps the people who put their names down had pulled out or were unavailable. That is why I asked on thread just to clarify. If this is the case then I would still like to get involved, if not, then no harm done
