Why is that sad??? Its just a bit of fun. I think I'll be going at some stage. only 50 quid and get dinner, tour and transport. a different night out!!! :D

well its obviously not sad if you dont mind spending money to eat food in an old gaol. its sad reflection on how the public view anything paranormal though.

Expect plenty of staged 'phenomena', but bearing that in mind it sounds like a bit of a laugh.

Oh yeah, its not taken very seriously. Paranormal is becoming a way to make money. But there are some advantages to it, it gets people talking about the paranormal. You can be guaranteed that everyone at that dinner will have at least one conversation that night about the paranormal or their experiences with it. I find it hard to get people to open up about their beliefs or experiences.

If people want to go and have a bit of fun and pay 50 quid to do a once off investigation let them go and enjoy it. Not everyone wants to be a deputy trainee associate paranormal team leader in a ghostbuster style uniform. Each to their own!
