When I suggested Landscape I meant more the traditional fields, trees and mountains. But Urban landscapes would be acceptable aye Not a sprawling city shot, or a big bridge ... more scenic urban. A bridge is not a landscape, though a lot of people on the likes of flickr etc ... like to think so.

I'm so jealous looking through this thread, I really wish I had a car ... and could drive ... yeah, i'm one of that rare breed. There's some great landscapes within 10 minutes driving from me, around Navan. But no way I'm cycling to them with my back!

Thanks Rita, both shots were taken on Sunset Beach in Vancouver just after sunset.

To pete: while acd may want to clarify, I would have thought anything that is a scene of the land of the earth is a Landscape. So city or countryside would all fall into landscapes as they would be a pic of the land. No?

No, it's just outside Summerhill, Co. Meath.

It was taken on the south shore of Mono Lake, in Mono County, California, right where the self-guided trail immediately first hits the sand of the beach, in the Mono Lake Tufa State Reserve.

Well i have been trying to get a decent photo since the assignment has started but to no avail yet (theres still tomorrow) but i thouhg ti might as well stick this in, even though other photos are better at least i tried, lol.
