    Hi there,

    Can you cash it/transfer BoI check into AIB bank account?
    Or i just have to go to BoI bank, take cash and then transfer to my AIB account?
    Dont wanna waste my time on lunchbrake :)

    Practically no bank will cash a cheque, unless you have an account in the branch, and the cheque account is also in that branch. You'll have to lodge it to your account, in whatever bank, and wait for it to clear.

    ok, i wroteit wrong. I was thinking about lodge it to my account.
    I just dont wanna hear : hey mr that BoI check, u have to go to their branch?
    or
    Sorry we cannot lodge it, cause you dont have account in BOI
    I know it silly, but may happend :)

    No, you can lodge any cheque into any bank account. It will just take longer to clear a cheque that is drawn down on another bank.
