Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hello all,

This is just to let you know that the annual Tom Shanahan Memorial Exhibition is currently on in the foyer of Blanchardstown Library for anybody who is interested. The exhibition is hosted by St Brigid's Photo Group. St Brigid's, Malahide, Swords, St Benedicts, Fingal County Council and Rush photo groups are all taking part.

Tom Shanahan was a founding member of our club who passed away a few years ago and this exhibition/competition is held every year in his honour.

The exhibition will run for 2 weeks.

There was also a compeition as part of the exhibition judged by Podge Kelly. The results were as follows:

    1st Corinne Fagnen - St. Brigid's

    2nd Corinne Fagnen - St. Brigid's

    3rd Janet Meehan - St. Brigid's

    Highly Commended

Caroline Bradley - Fingal Co Co

    Vincent Cahill - St. Brigid's

    Derek Byrne - St. Brigid's

Obviously as secretary of St Brigid's I am thrilled with the result.

It is interesting to note that Corinne and Janet are both part of our so called "novice" section! Not any more!

The standard from all the clubs is very high and the exhibition is very high and it is well worth a visit if you are near Blanchardstown Library.

Also, myself and Corinne will be interviewed this evening at 8pm on Phoenix FM (92.5 fm) about the exhibition and our club.
