Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Carbon fibre scratches - need special paint?

Do I need special paint or will basic touch-up paint (like automotive) stuff available in motor factors do? I have one of those Chain Catcher thingies on order (Dave2pvd/ Raam), because I want to avoid the scratches that occur to the lovely carbon fibre frame when chain derails. However, as this has already happened recently, I want to repair the paintwork. I don't know enough about it but am a bit worried about the solvent in the paint affecting the resin etc. Advice?
    Thanks.

I use black nailpolish on the Ridley and a touch up stick I got in Halfords for the Planet X. Neither are perfect fixes but they work.

If you don't want to paint over them you can still get the clearcoat lacquer to offer protection.
