Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I don't know whether this is of interest to anyone, I've been messing about with it on a Nokia E72. Works on a load of phones, and you can use it with a garmin etc.

it even tweets a link to your most recent workout.

oh.... did I mention that's FREE!

you can link to other friends/users aqnd issue challenges etc, or just use it for your own interest. it motivational talks etc!

by the way, I'm new to the cycling section of boards. would love to meet with similar (overweight unfit ) newbies from the DunLaoghaire area. I'm a summer commuter and have just started on my first road bike, shiny new corratec dolimiti.

Does it have any advantages over sportstracker? Welcome to the forum and I do like the look of the Corratec bikes.

I use it for my jogging. It's really good. You set up your own profile online and check out your records.

And Captain Havoc, I think it is an updated version of what Nokia used to have available called "Sportstracker".

The biggest advantage is that its compatible with a hell of alot more phones than the nokia app.

I have sportypal installed on my HTC HD2 and my girlfriend has it installed on her iPhone and my mate has it on his Nokia. :)

Here's a screenshot from my profile page online. If you were able to scroll down from the screenshot, you'd see a calender with your record.

There is one major disadvantage to Endomonto though. If I wanted to use it when I go back to Ireland on holidays, it could cost an arm and a leg as it really needs a monthly data package in the phone. As far as I remember, Sportstracker only uses satellite connections.

I tried these on E71, worked ok. But they didn't seem to show time moving and time stopped. Which some other software did.

I have sportypal also, very useful and motivational app. Since i installed i have more willingness for cycling, I have my goal set up, so i go cycling every second day if I can.
And yes it doesn;t cost anything, just switch on the GPS, find some satellite and start. After fins some hot wi-fi spot, or from your home and upload it to www.sportypal.com
