Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

As in your earlier point, with the Almax lock that isnt listed on the Sold Secure facility, what would suggest happens in this instance?
Should the two be implemented, our list and theirs?

Touché is all I can say to that!!

I never checked their listing, just went by their own website which contains the sold secure logo. The chains are Thatcham approved, if that is any use.

I use the series III and IV for the motorcycle, and judging by the weight of them, they wouldn't be the most portable for cyclists.

If we were to incorporate the sold secure system would you use their bronze standard on bikes valued up to €500, silver for up to €1600 and gold above €1600.

It's worth bearing in mind that Sold Secure is basically a marketing programme for security products.

There are cable locks with "sold secure gold" rating, despite that cable locks are generally considered useful only as a secondary locking device.

OTOH I believe the Kryptonite Mini (frame mountable version) is only silver rated, despite being quite effective.
