Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm having a problem with iTunes at the mo. When i try to open it up, it starts "Checking iTunes Library" for ages and never actually opens. Also, this freezes everything else on the computer. i had the problem once before and just left it for about an hour and it finally opened and haven't had the problem again until now. this time, it doesn't load, no matter how long i leave it??!

i've seen the same problem on some other forums, but nobody has a real solution for it. any ideas?!

Is there a way of syncing your itunes with your iphone and then delete all music from the pc and leave it on the iphone or does the sync always have the iphone mirror what is on the pc i.e. will delete music on the iphone if it is gone from the pc?. Reason I ask is I don't want to waste HD space on the PC as it is in short supply.

Random suggestion but try disconnecting your internet and then opening it. iTunes connects to Apple on boot IIRC and if its getting stuck in a loop that could be the problem.

If you manage to get into it back up and reinstall.

Try removing iTunes from the registry and updating to the latest version

Silly question, but have you tried restarting the PC? (or just going into task manager > processes and ending itunes.exe)

And when I say restarting, I don't mean clicking the "power" button in vista
