    The Little Change / musicians and fashion designers wanted / Suns & Lovers Sunday partiesHello there folks,

    New premises-

    As you probably know, we have moved from the Benburb Street premises and found ourselves a lovely new home. Our new humble abode is rather raw and dirty right now, so we will be giving it a thorough clean before announcing its locaton and getting you all in to warm it up. This will hopefully be by the end of the week...



    Musicians/bands and fashion designers wanted-

    The Little Room is looking for musicians/bands to get involved with the various parties we will be holding at our new home and other locations around Dublin. We are looking for

    folk, jazz, soul, latin, blues, disco, balearic, electronica, country, indie...anything interesting.

    The only rules are that it is live ( not a DJ ) and is upbeat and feel good, so no bedsit misery please guys, the little room is a happy place! In a nutshell....no Keane,slow patrol,cold-day. If you are interested, or know anyone that might be, please drop us a message with some info about yourselves and a video/recording/demo..that sort of thing.

    We are also looking for fashion designers. Please contact Laura at laurs42@hotmail.com for more info on that one.



    Suns & Lovers-

    Finally! We host a little Sunday party called Suns & Lovers. This is a party where we will get to break out all our favorite Sunday records and invite some amazing guest jocks to come and spin. The focus will be on house music late on in the evening and a more eclectic vibe early on. We want to take in funk, soul, balearic and disco with the occasional live band (see above :-)).

    Although Suns & Lovers will be holding a party once every fortnight, from May 23rd, at Smithfield`s rather lovely Space 54 arts workshop (which will be BYOB), we will also be doing some one off gigs in interesting, unused locations around the city.
