Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

First time shooting on the stages in over two years, forgot how much fun it can be hunting down stages for a good spot. Looking forward to the next one already !

Liked them all, especially 1 & 2, wouldn't be mad about the crop on some of the others tho.

Nice pix Paddy - I've only tried shooting a hill climb myself once, and boy does it eat the big gigabyte memory cards!
PS is that an L f2.8 lens you are using?

    No. 1 & 6 are my favourites.
Good luck next week too. Looking forward to seeing some of them shots of the Ring.

No 1 is great! I love the mud n skin n hair flying out the back of the car.
I'd consider cropping a bit tighter around the car. 2-5 are grand, good & sharp, no. 6 doesn't work for me I'm afraid. The car is dead sharp but too many out-of-focus scobes in hoodies!

    Cheers,

I like the first one a lot. It's a really good 'action' shot in my opinion. The dirt is great.

Not a fan of number two. I don't tend to like black and white in most photographs, so that's probably what put me off it.

3, 4 and 5 are all good, but very still in my opinion (ie; the cars are flying around the track - I assume - but theres no sense of motion)

The last one is pretty good in my opinon. I like the out of focus people, but I think cropping tighter to get rid of the sign post on the left hand side would make it a lot better.

(Note; I'm photographically challenged :o so take my opinion 'with a grain of salt' as they say')

    :)

Pretty much what I was going to say :D The photo is filled, but you only really look at the car. I agree about cropping the stop sign, because imo as it's on the same eye level as the car, yor eyes get drawn to it, away from the car.
