Recommend me a light bulb (or 2)

    Hi, I'm in the market for light bulbs and need

    1st; eco-friendly but one that is suitable for regular and frequent on-off action (hall light is on a 1 min timer, light in cubby hole)

    2nd; eco-friendly but suitable for use with a dimmer switch.

    All the ones I've checked out over the years have stated that they're unsuitable for the 2 above-mentioned scenarios but I'm thinking at this stage, someones come up with a bulb/fix.

    Preferably from a bricks and mortar.
