Now if only they'd get the hint and feck off sticking their noses in everything and also bring GAWW with them.

Us people of Galway want our power boats and our red arrows!!!

Great for the local economy too. The organisation of the ocean race was a credit to the city hopefully this is too.

Literly as close as safely possible.

The race license has been granted for the events. There will be notices in the paper informing people, the Council will have signs up and the swimmers will be warned. The pots, just like the Volvo, will be lifted in the race area.

The PWC Slalom event might be about 150 metres offshore. We haven't designed the course yet but it'll be as close as possible and hopefully go parallel to the shore for best viewing

Traditionally the P750's run in inches of water along the beach, but that can't happen at Salthill due to the rock spits coming off the beach, but they'll be runnign as close to the end of these spits as possible

The Superstock might be about 500 metres off
