Attic Window Blind in Charlesland

    Hey,
I was wondering if anyone has ever installed a blackout blind on their attic window in Charlesland? If so, could you tell me where you got the blind and approximately how much it cost? I live in one of the two-bed, mid-terrace houses and I'm assuming that a standard size attic window has been installed in these properties.
I had hoped that the make and model of the window would be written somewhere on the frame, and that it would simply be a matter of ordering a blind online using this information, but unfortunately it's not a Velux window by the looks of things, and therefore I can't see any relevant markings.
Any help from people in the know would be much appreciated.
    Thanks a million.

yes they are quite a standard size. Normal price from www.velux.ie and shops for black out blind is about €115.
We recently bought one from woodies who it appears were selling off their stock of velux blinds, the price was reduced from €115 to €29.99. Too good to miss. This was a few weeks ago and i have no idea if the sale is still on or if they have any left.

If you open the window and look at the bottom it will give you the window model which you then match with the blind, i cannot remember it off hand.

    Regards

    Hey JAYG,
Thanks for getting back to me. Unfortunately the window in question is not actually a Velux window so it has no model number/code written anywhere on the frame (even after I've opened it up). Cheers for the heads-up about the sale in Woodys though!
There's no panic anyway, sure I can always ask a specialist outfit to come out and measure it up if it comes to it - would have been nice to go with the cheaper DIY option though!
    Thanks.
