Anybody know if they're doing any two-for-one type offers on beer anytime soon?

Check the "Great Deals" and click on "Off Licence", there's some deals on at the moment but I'd imagine a big price war will break out between them in the week before the World Cup starts in June.

After the last budget Beer effectively had no price difference between NI & ROI.

Current Tesco deals seem to be as good as Sainsburys.

Tesco Grolsch 67c / bottle, Same with Becks. Sainsburys 2 for £18 deal works out at 72c per bottle.

Prices in the North are very close to prices in the south these days. - UK Inflation over the past 15 months is over 5%. Irish DEflation is almost 10%, plus weakening of euro makes NI no different overall than south.

I went up on monday and there were a few offers to be had.
There were 30 bottles (25cl) of Bier De Moulain((4% abv) for ten pounds...it equates to 15 cans for 12 euro.
They had crates of carlsberg (24 cans) for 11 pounds sterling, slightly cheaper than here.
The sainsburies own brand vodka and gin is much cheaper at 7.40 sterling per bottle.
Having said all that,if you dont fancy the drive, tesco down south is selling stella for 15 euro per 24 bottle case.
