    Hi There,
I'm looking to buy old fashioned 4 wheel quad roller skates for adults. I was in town last weekend and tried Smyths (kids only) and Champion Sports had none at all.
Does anyone know where I can buy them?
    Thanks

Is it for fancy dress or serious use? You might be better off ordering quads online.

Er..serious use...ish! I'm going through a bit of a life crisis! Have very happy memories of roller discos in my teens and would love to get back on skates. I'd prefer to buy offline so I can try for size :)

You could ask this crowd where they get them from. They probably wont tell you but it has to be worth a phonecall. http://www.spinrollerdisco.ie/location.html

No real bargains to be had but I've done alot of googling and these seem to be the best site.

I'd say you might be better looking in adverts.ie and gumtree etc. I'd say there are plenty of folk out there who thought they would love skating but then realise they - well - don't!

That's just what I thought but I've been looking and any skates for sale seem to be inline skates. I've found a few sites online but I think you really need to "try before you buy" to get the right fit :)

There's always skate city in Temple Bar. Half way between the Bad Ass cafe and the central bank. Up the stairs.
